CCB Media Recruiting for a Radio and Digital Account Executive

Cape Cod Broadcasting Media (99.9 the Q, Cape Country 104, Cape Classical 107.5, Ocean 104.7 and CapeCod.com) seeks an ambitious individual to be a marketing partner with small to medium-sized local businesses. Submission of both a cover letter and resume is required for employment consideration.


In this role you will identify and develop new business opportunities; maintain and grow existing clients; offer solutions to help clients achieve their business goals; close business; meet sales targets; and meet with prospective clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms
  • Strong client service relationship-building skills

  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Candidate must drive their own vehicle with a valid driver’s license and state-mandated auto insurance

Work Experience

  • 2+ years in media/advertising sales is preferred, but not required
  • CRM experience is a plus
  • College degree preferred

CCB Media Recruiting for Promotions Street Team

Cape Cod Broadcasting Media (99.9 The Q, Cape Country 104, Ocean 104.7 and Classical 107.5 WFCC and CapeCod.com) reflect our community’s varied connections and lifestyles. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to help promote our radio stations and websites.

Street Team Job Description:

  • Assist in setting up and executing station contests and events such as major station promotions, sales remotes, concerts and festivals with other promotions team members and alone.
  • Loading/unloading and operating promotional vehicles, setting up and breaking down tents and sound systems on site, operating basic radio equipment and other duties as directed by the Promotions Director.
  • Acting as a liaison between our radio stations and our listeners.
  • Representing the radio stations in a positive and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Enjoy working in a team environment, communicate effectively, be prepared to assist with station event planning and execution as directed and be outgoing.
  • Have strong customer service skills and interact with and get station listeners involved in station promotions.
  • Work well under pressure and have the willingness and ability to learn how to operate promotional equipment.
  • Additional duties include: organizing station vehicles, station inventory, acquiring merchandise and other products for listener promotions and contests.
  • Assist with general overall department duties to the Promotions Director, Promotions Coordinator and other station personnel.
  • Office duties may include: working with clients on pre-event preparation, listener correspondence, social network logging, filing and further duties as needed.
  • Be responsible and detail oriented
  • Be self-motivated
  • Be 18 years or older and able to work a flexible schedule up to 28 hours a week, including weekends, holidays and evening events
  • Have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Have the strength and agility to lift objects in excess of 25 lbs.
  • Have high school diploma or equivalent

CCB Media Recruiting for News/Radio Board Operator – Part Time

Cape Cod Broadcasting Media (99.9 The Q, Ocean 104.7, Cape Country 104, Cape Classical 107.5 WFCC and CapeCod.com) is seeking part-time radio news/board operators to operate our radio stations, write and anchor news updates, and anchor weather and traffic reports on weekends. Some on-air and radio board operation experience is important and writing experience a plus. Weekend availability is essential.

Cape Cod Broadcasting Internships

Locally-owned and -operated Cape Cod Broadcasting – the parent company of 99.9 WQRC, Ocean 104.7, Cape Country 104, Classical 107.5 WFCC, and CapeCod.com – offers Internships and For Credit internships throughout the year in various departments, including production, programming, news, sales, promotions and online. Specific internship responsibilities vary according to those outlined by each department. Internships and For Credit Internships are open to students in both high school and college who are interested in learning about the multi-faceted world of radio broadcasting and online.

High school internships are for students participating in approved work-study programs through their schools. Internships are completed during the school week, within the academic year, pursuant to the Massachusetts Work-Based Learning Plan. They focus on driving school-to-career learning and productivity on the job within the framework of a radio station and online.  Applications for high school internships must be facilitated through a teacher, counselor, or program director at the student’s school.


College internships are open to undergraduate students receiving academic credit from an accredited institution of higher learning. College internships typically coincide with academic semesters, or summer break months. For Credit college Internships must be facilitated by the student and coordinated through the college of enrollment.  Please contact Cape Cod Broadcasting with your interest.
